I am a postdoc at the Social Data Science and AI (SODA) Lab (PI: Frauke Kreuter) of LMU Munich. I am also a junior member of the Munich Center for Machine Learning and an ajunct assistant research professor at the Joint Program in Survey Methodology, University of Maryland. I completed my PhD at the SODA Lab of LMU Munich and have been affiliate external PhD student at the Munich AI and NLP (MaiNLP) Lab (PI: Barbara Plank) of LMU Munich.
Broadly, my research interests focus on human-centric NLP, computational social science, computational semantics & pragmatics.
Recently, I have been interested in studying how LLMs process language, understand cultures, and engage with society: from aspectual semantics (The Imperfective Paradox, ACL 2026 🏆 Best Paper Award) to generating poetry (Táng Poetry Generation and Evaluation, ACL 2026 Findings) and simulating public opinion (Algorithmic Fidelity in Generating German Public Opinions, ACL 2025).
